Photography Terms and Conditions
Agreement
- By booking a photography session with Adelaide Artist Management (AAM), the client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
- The term “client” refers to the individual being photographed and/or the parent/guardian of a minor.
Payment Policy
- Full payment is required to secure your booking. Any remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of the shoot.
- No images will be released until full payment has been received.
- Accepted payment methods include EFT, debit/credit card, cash, PayPal, and AfterPay.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before the booking, subject to availability.
- Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, will incur the full session fee.
- If AAM must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will be rearranged for the nearest mutually suitable date.
Late Arrival
- Sessions begin strictly at the scheduled time.
- Late arrival may reduce shoot duration and number of looks/outfits captured.
- Refunds or extensions are not offered for lost time due to late arrival.
Styling, Wardrobe & Presentation
- Clients are responsible for arriving camera-ready unless hair and makeup services have been arranged as part of their package.
- Any additional time required for personal preparation during the session may reduce the overall shoot time.
- We can provide recommendations for hair and makeup artists if you wish to book these services as part of Package One or Two.
Editing & Image Delivery
- Final image turnaround time will be communicated at the time of the shoot (approx. 2-4 weeks).
- Clients will receive a downloadable link with proof sheets to choose their final images.
- Editing includes standard retouching (lighting, colour, blemish removal).
- Requests for extensive retouching (e.g., major alterations of physique, background changes, tattoo removal) may incur additional fees.
- RAW/unedited images are not provided under any circumstances.
Copyright & Usage Rights
- All images remain the copyright and intellectual property of AAM.
- Clients receive a usage licence for personal promotion, including: Acting and modelling submissions, casting portals, social media, personal websites and portfolios.
- Images may not be altered, edited, filtered, resold, or redistributed to third parties (including commercial brands and publications) without written permission from AAM.
- Commercial use (brand advertising, product promotion, billboards, magazine publication, etc.) requires an additional licensing agreement and fees.
- AAM may use images for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, or promotional purposes, unless the client provides written notice requesting non-use prior to the session.
- Images of minors will never be used without parental/guardian approval.
Third-Party Professionals
- Any subcontracted makeup artists, stylists, or photographers engaged by AAM operate under professional standards.
- AAM is not liable for dissatisfaction relating to services provided by third-party subcontractors; however, feedback will be managed professionally.
Services for Minors
- Please note all AAM staff hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
- For clients under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor to the photography session and remain on the premises for the duration of the shoot.
- If a parent or guardian is unable or chooses not to remain present during the session, they must sign an authorisation and consent form granting permission for the minor to participate without supervision.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the minor arrives prepared and complies with all safety and conduct requirements during the session.
- AAM reserves the right to stop or refuse a session if the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of the minor is compromised, or if the consent form has not been completed where required.
Safety & Personal Information
- Clients must follow reasonable directions during the session to ensure safety.
- No food, drink (other than water), drugs, or alcohol are permitted on the premises.
- AAM reserves the right to stop a session immediately without refund if inappropriate or unsafe behaviour occurs.
- AAM reserves the right to refuse service if necessary for safety, wellbeing, or professional standards.
- AAM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings at the studio or shoot location.
- Personal details collected for booking and communication purposes are treated confidentially and stored securely in accordance with privacy laws.
- Information is only shared with third parties if required for the delivery of services or to meet legal obligations.
- Clients participate in photography sessions at their own risk. This includes but is not limited to any physical activity required for posing, wardrobe changes, use of props, studio equipment, lighting, or sets.
- Clients are responsible for supervising any individuals they bring to the session (including partners, guardians, children, friends, or assistants). AAM assumes no responsibility for the behaviour, welfare, safety, or supervision of additional attendees.
- AAM and its staff are not liable for the death or injury of any client or accompanying person during a photography session, nor for any loss, damage, claim, demand, action, proceeding, cost, or expense incurred in connection with the shoot.
