Refund Policy

Adelaide Artist Management (AAM) provides professional acting training, workshops, studio hire, photography services, self tape sessions, and private tuition. As these services involve limited availability, advance scheduling, and professional time allocation, the following refund policy applies to all bookings and enrolments.

By purchasing or booking any service with AAM, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

 

General Policy (Applies to All Services)

  • All bookings and enrolments require full payment to secure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind, missed sessions, late arrivals, or failure to attend, except where expressly stated below.
  • Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Services may be rescheduled or delivered in an alternative format (including online) at AAM’s discretion where required due to unforeseen circumstances.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

Acting Courses & Term Enrolments

Cancellation Before Course Start

  • More than 14 working days before the course start date:
    Full refund of fees paid
  • Between 14 working days and a minimum of 10 calendar days before the course start date:
    Fees held as credit for a future course
  • Less than 10 days before the course start date:
    No refund or credit (full fees retained)

During the Term

  • No refunds, credits, or make-up sessions are provided for:
    • Missed classes
    • Absences due to illness or personal reasons
    • Changes of mind after commencement
  • If a student is removed due to a serious breach of AAM’s Terms & Conditions, all fees are forfeited.

AAM-Initiated Changes

  • If a class cannot be delivered and no suitable replacement or rescheduled session can be arranged, a refund for the missed session will apply.
  • If course components are substituted with equivalent content, no refund is provided.

 

Workshops

Cancellation Before Workshop Start

  • More than 14 working days before the workshop date:
    Full refund
  • At least 10 calendar days before the workshop date:
    Fees held as credit toward a future workshop
  • Less than 10 days before the workshop date:
    No refund or credit

Attendance

  • No refunds, credits, or make-up sessions for:
    • Missed workshop sessions
    • Partial attendance
    • Change of mind

AAM-Initiated Changes

  • If a workshop session cannot be delivered and no replacement can be arranged, a refund for that session will apply.

 

Studio Hire

  • Cancellations more than 7 days before the hire date:
    Refund or credit may be issued at AAM’s discretion
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the booking:
    No refund (full hire fee retained)
  • Failure to attend (no-show):
    No refund

AAM-Initiated Changes

  • If AAM must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the booking will be rescheduled to the nearest mutually suitable date.
  • In events beyond AAM’s control (e.g. power outages, emergencies), partial refunds or rescheduling may be offered at AAM’s discretion.

Additional Charges (Non-Refundable)

  • Overtime usage
  • Cleaning fees
  • Damage or repair costs

 

Photography Sessions

  • Rescheduling permitted up to 48 hours before the session, subject to availability
  • Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours:
    No refund (full session fee forfeited)
  • Failure to attend:
    No refund

Late Arrival

  • Sessions start strictly on time.
  • Lost time due to late arrival is not refundable or extendable.

AAM-Initiated Changes

  • If AAM must reschedule, the session will be rebooked to the nearest suitable date. Refunds are not guaranteed.

 

Self Tape Sessions

  • Rescheduling permitted up to 24 hours before the session, subject to availability
  • Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours:
    No refund
  • Failure to attend:
    No refund

Late Arrival

  • Late arrival shortens the session.
  • No refunds, credits, or extensions for lost time.

Behaviour & Safety

  • Sessions terminated due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour are non-refundable.

 

Private Tuition

  • Rescheduling permitted up to 24 hours before the session, subject to availability
  • Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours:
    No refund
  • Failure to attend:
    No refund

Late Arrival

  • Late arrival reduces session time.
  • No refunds or make-up time provided.

Behaviour & Conduct

  • Sessions ended due to safety, professionalism, or conduct concerns are non-refundable.

 

Australian Consumer Law

Where required under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not delivered as described. This policy does not exclude or limit those rights.
