What to wear for your photography session
Please bring a minimum of three outfit options to your session. Our photographer will help select the looks best suited to your casting type and the style of shoot.
- Recommended clothing items include:
- Plain t-shirts in neutral tones or block colours (black, white, tan, grey, navy, green, etc)
- Jeans or tailored pants
- Knitwear, long-sleeve tops, basic layers
- Dresses, skirts or tailored shorts
- Shoes that match each outfit (heels, flats, casual, sneakers etc.)
To keep your images clean and industry-ready, please avoid busy patterns, bold prints, logos, branded clothing, excessive jewellery, or visible piercings. All clothing must be
clean, ironed, and brought in on hangers for quick changes.
Grooming tips for clean, professional results
For headshots and portfolio imagery, casting directors, clients and agents prefer a clean, natural look.
Please arrive:
- With a fresh, moisturised face
- Wearing very natural makeup
- With clean, styled hair (straight or soft waves are ideal)
Please bring a brush, hair tie and makeup for touch ups, and note the following restrictions to keep your images professional:
- NO bright-coloured nail polish (neutral tones acceptable)
- NO excessively long acrylic nails
- NO fake tan
- NO fake eyelashes
After your session
Once your session is complete, your images will be professionally edited to ensure they meet industry standards while still maintaining an authentic appearance. Your final images will be delivered via a downloadable Google Drive link. Editing time is typically 2–4 weeks, depending on workload and the volume of shoots in progress. Upon editing completion, an email will be sent with your edited images which you will need to download within 14 days before expiry. Ensure you download these images to your computer and external device as a backup. Please note, if you choose additional images for editing, these will be charged at $49.50 and must be payable before the editing commences.

Who are the photography sessions for?
Our photography sessions are ideal for actors, models, performers and creatives of all ages who require professional, industry-standard images for casting profiles, portfolios, agencies and brand use. Sessions are also suitable for beginners who are just starting their journey.
Do I need experience to book a photography session?
No experience is required at all. Our photographers and team guide you through the entire session, including posing, expression and movement, to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
What type of images will I receive?
You will receive a mix of commercial, casting and personality-driven images tailored to your industry goals. This may include headshots, mid-shots and full-body images suitable for use across casting platforms, websites and portfolios.
What should I wear to my session?
We recommend bringing 2-4 outfit options in neutral tones and simple styles that reflect your natural look. Avoid large logos, bold patterns or heavy branding. We are happy to provide guidance prior to your shoot if needed.
Will hair and makeup be provided?
Hair and makeup are not automatically included unless booked as an add-on. Many clients prefer a natural, clean look suitable for casting. If you would like to include professional hair and makeup, please advise at the time of booking.
Will the photos be edited?
Yes. All final selected images are professionally retouched for colour balance, lighting and clarity while maintaining a natural and realistic appearance. We do not over-edit or alter facial features.
How long does a session take?
Photography sessions typically run between 30–90 minutes, depending on the package selected and the number of look changes.
When will I receive my images?
Your proof gallery is usually supplied within 7–10 business days after the shoot. Once your image selections are made, your fully edited, high-resolution images are typically delivered within 2–4 weeks.
Can parents stay for children’s sessions?
Yes. Parents or guardians are welcome to stay during children’s photography sessions to ensure comfort and support.
Do the images belong to me?
Yes. Your images are supplied for personal promotion, casting profiles and portfolio use only. They cannot be sold, licensed, transferred, or used by any third party.
What if I need to reschedule?
We understand that things come up. If you need to reschedule, please notify us as early as possible. Late cancellations may incur a fee depending on notice period. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for our full cancellation policy.
