Private Tuition Terms and Conditions
Agreement
- By booking private tuition with Adelaide Artist Management (AAM), the client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
- The term “client” refers to the individual receiving tuition and/or the parent/guardian of a minor.
Payment Policy
- Full payment is required to secure your booking.
- Any remaining balance must be paid before the day of the session.
- Accepted payment methods include EFT, credit/debit card, PayPal, AfterPay, and cash.
- Sessions will not proceed if payment has not been received.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the booking, subject to availability.
- Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full session fee.
- Failure to attend a confirmed session (“no-show”) will forfeit the full fee.
- If AAM must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will be moved to the nearest mutually suitable date.
Late Arrival
- Sessions begin strictly at the scheduled time.
- Late arrival will shorten your session, as extended time cannot be guaranteed.
- Refunds or make-up time will not be provided for late arrivals.
Session Preparation
- Clients are expected to arrive prepared with any required scripts, materials, or assignments.
- Additional preparation time taken during the session may reduce the coaching time provided.
- AAM may assign exercises or practice work to support skills development; completion of this work is the client’s responsibility.
Code of Conduct
- Clients must follow all reasonable directions during the session to ensure safety and a productive learning environment.
- No food, drink (other than water), drugs, or alcohol are permitted in the studio.
- AAM reserves the right to stop a session without refund if behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, aggressive, or disruptive.
- Respectful behaviour toward AAM coaches, staff, and other students is required at all times.
Services for Minors
- Please note all AAM staff hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
- Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the studio by a parent or guardian.
- Parents/guardians must remain on the premises unless otherwise approved or a consent form has been signed.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the minor arrives prepared and complies with safety and conduct expectations.
- AAM reserves the right to end a session if the wellbeing or comfort of the minor is compromised.
Safety & Liability
- Clients participate in private tuition at their own risk, including all physical or vocal activities that may be required during training.
- AAM is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage occurring during tuition unless caused directly by negligence of AAM.
- Clients are responsible for supervising any individuals they bring to the session (partners, parents, siblings, friends, assistants, etc.).
- AAM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Personal Information
- Personal information collected for bookings and communication is handled confidentially and stored securely in accordance with privacy laws.
- Information is only shared where necessary for service delivery or required by law.
Right to Refuse Service
- AAM reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a session if safety, professionalism, or industry standards are compromised.
- AAM may terminate future bookings if the client repeatedly breaches these Terms & Conditions.
