Self Tapes Terms and Conditions
Agreement
- By booking a self tape session with Adelaide Artist Management (AAM), the client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
- The term “client” refers to the individual being filmed and/or the parent/guardian of a minor.
Payment Policy
- Full payment is required to secure your self tape booking.
- Any remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of your session.
- Tapes will not be released until full payment has been received.
- Accepted payment methods include EFT, debit/credit card, cash, PayPal, and AfterPay.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the booking, subject to availability.
- Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, will incur the full session fee.
- If AAM must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will be moved to the nearest mutually suitable time.
Late Arrival
- Sessions begin strictly at the scheduled time.
- Late arrival will shorten your session, as extended time may not be possible.
- Refunds, extensions, or credits will not be offered for lost time caused by late arrival.
Preparation
- Clients must arrive session-ready, having prepared and rehearsed their script in advance.
- Any delays caused by preparation during the session may reduce filming time.
- Hair and makeup should be clean, natural, and minimal (unless otherwise described in your character description).
- Clothing should be simple, solid-coloured, and appropriate for the character (no patterns, bold prints, or logos).
- AAM may provide performance direction, but it is the client’s responsibility to bring casting notes, sides, and scene requirements.
- Please ensure you come prepared with all props required for your scene.
Footage Delivery
- Clients will receive their completed self tape via a downloadable web link shortly after the session (same day or next day unless otherwise advised).
- Editing includes selecting and trimming the client's preferred take for a clean, professional result.
- Raw/unedited footage is not provided.
- Additional editing requests may incur an extra fee.
Usage Rights
- Self tapes are created solely for the client’s personal audition or casting submission.
- Tapes may not be shared, published, altered, or repurposed for commercial use without written permission from AAM.
- Footage from a client’s self tape may be used for promotional purposes.
- All scripts are confidential, please ensure you do not share, copy, or distribute them under any circumstances.
Services for Minors
- Please note all AAM staff hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
- Clients under 18 must be accompanied to the studio by a parent or guardian.
- Parents/guardians must remain on the premises unless a consent form allowing unsupervised participation has been signed.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the minor arrives prepared and adheres to safety and conduct expectations.
- AAM may stop a session if the minor’s wellbeing, safety, or comfort is compromised in any way.
Safety & Personal Information
- Clients must follow reasonable instructions from AAM to ensure safety and the smooth running of the session.
- No food, drink (aside from water), drugs, or alcohol are permitted in the studio.
- AAM may terminate the session without refund if behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.
- Clients are responsible for supervising any individuals they bring to the session (partners, parents, children, friends, etc.).
- AAM assumes no responsibility for the behaviour, safety, or supervision of additional attendees.
- Personal details collected for bookings and communication are handled confidentially and stored securely, in line with privacy laws.
- Information is only shared where necessary for service delivery or legal requirements.
Liability
- Clients participate in self tape sessions at their own risk, including all physical or vocal activity required for performance.
- AAM is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage sustained during the session unless caused by AAM’s direct negligence.
- AAM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
- AAM and its staff are not liable for death, injury, loss, damage, claims, or expenses arising from the session except where required under law.
